HOFBRÄUHAUS MÜNCHEN

The Hofbräuhaus is a beer hall in Munich, Germany. It was originally built in 1589 by Bavarian Duke Maximillian I. Its is was built as an extension to the Staatliches Hofbräuhaus in München brewery. It was open to the general public in 1828. The building was completely remodeled in 1897, when it was moved to the suburbs. Everything but the ground floor was destroyed in the bombing of World War II. It took until 1958 to rebuild.

This was one of the spots Pat picked to see. He has been wanting to go to this place for a very long time. They have them other places than just Germany, i know there was one in Vegas, however I am glad we got to enjoy the original one.
The food was absolutely amazing. 1 liter beers (better known as the Maß or pronounced Mass) are pretty great too. I mean seriously where can you go and get a liter of beer. For those that visit the Hofbräuhaus often can leave a stein there and they will lock it up for you so you can use the same one every time you come. They sell GIANT pretzels there as well. The women are all dressed in typical Bavarian clothing known as dirndls and the men in the lederhosen. They have a band that plays traditional german music and the atmosphere is just fun and friendly.
People were at there tables laughing, drinking and singing. It was great to see so many people from so many different places enjoying themselves so much. I would for sure suggest going with a bigger group of people but if its just a couple its okay to, chances are you will be joined by other guests there and maybe you will get to meet someone new.
