Partnach Gorge

Hello All,
This past week we had the wonderful opportunity to attend a Marriage Retreat in Edelweiss. We had a wonderful time. We got to meet new friends and see some beautiful scenery and also learn some things about making our marriage happier. It was a great time.
We arrived at our hotel around 3 and checked in checked out our room for a minute then made our way to our first place we wanted to see. The Partnach Gorge. I have seen tons of pictures and learned about it a little bit. I was super excited to go and take some pictures and of course spend some much needed time with the husband.
The Gorge is 2,303 ft long and in some places over 260 ft deep. It was designated a natural monument in 1912. To learn a little more about the gorge you can use this link Partnach Gorge Wikipedia.
We parked at the Olympia Skistadion. We paid 2 euro for 2 hours of parking or so. We then walked to the gorge which takes about 20-25 min. You can also take a horse and carriage ride, however you will be joined with a few other ppl on it. Once you get there you will come to a little hut like thing where you can buy your tickets to go through.. Adults are 4.00 euro and kids are 2.50 euro. The walking path was pretty easy and children should be fine to walk through. You do go through some dark caves/tunnels, and some of the walkways can get quite narrow. It is a wonderful site to see and is a great experience. Below are some pictures i took.
